I know there are a ton of threads like this one, but one more can't hurt ;). I'm playing as Greece right now on monarch and it appears I'm stuck on a small continent with one other civilization, Sumeria. Sumeria has 17 cities (I only have 10, two of which I took from them in a war), up in technology by a lot, Horses and Iron. I have no resources at all and only one viable unit to attack with, the archer. The only good thing going for me right now is my cities can produce archers pretty quick and I have roads connecting to all my cities. I'm in anarchy right now planning on changing to monarchy.

Here are some screenshots:

So, what should I do? Do I have a chance of winning or should I just give up now?

And I would have uploaded A saved game, but I have no clue how to do that =/.

It depends. What difficulty level is this? Which victory types are on? You can probably still win but don't piss off Sumeria for a while. Use them to your advantage.

Awfully slow tech pace... why?
You need to build more cities. They're too spaced apart. You're wasting lots of premium tiles around Athens.
You have governors on. BAD. Turn it off everywhere and micromanage cities. You need all the advantage an human brain has over an AI.
That sumerian SOD is a serious concern. It can easily take over Thermopylae or Pharsalos. Prepare your defenses.

My advice would be: Get Monarchy, build some extra archers, along with some spears. Send 1/3 of your SOD to Marad. Keep the other 2/3 into Agade. When you declare, the sumeria SOD will probably be heading on Pharsalos. To reach the city it will be forced to enter into a plain square. That is the right moment to attack it with the SOD you garrisoned in Agade. You should be able to weaken it significantly. Then, who knows?

There is alot of free space for more cities. You should fill these in quickly, You could probably double your size. I'd give the game a go, but don't have C3C. (Have PTW) What dificulty are you playing on? That does look like a huge army, I can see why you're discouraged. But I say play to the bitter end, at the very least it will be a learning experience.

Yes you could play on, but better learning experience would be to go back about 20 turns and replay this same game.

What's good:
1. you have expanded
2. you are only sharing the continent with one civ
3. other contential civ is not strong military civ
4. you are using stacks.

Areas where you could improve:
A- build on your strengths first. You have hoplites, they are awesome defenders in AE.
Your stack should have at least 5 of these units.
B- increase production via roads and more cities
C- Plan ahead, you attack AI and sue for peace, AI will counter attack at earliest opportunity. Try to keep your military from being too weak.
D- When weak, decide what you will do to keep peace until you are stronger. Is there nothing you can trade sameria for during the next 20 turns?
E- use fort cities
