Do I have time to finish a new FFH2 game before a new patch/version is released?

Just upgraded to patch "f" having brought my last game, as the Calabim, to a position of ludicrous dominance from which a domination victory was a mere matter of time, I've decided my nest game's going to need to amp the difficulty considerably - a jump from Prince to Emperor, I think.

(I was using AI No building Requirements at Prince. Should I use them at Emperor as well? All my previous games at Noble or Prince on "Shadow" featured the AI producing almost no units of axeman level or better, due (I surmised) to them not building the requisite buildings...)

However, I'm in two minds whether to start the thing now or wait for the next version. Anyone have any idea of how imminent it is? I don't want a release date - I just want to know If I should be thinking in days, weeks, or months...

probably weeks, but it's always a bit touch-and-go depending on how easy to feature are to implement in my experience. The next version will just be a patch anyway i think, and may not break savegames.

AI no building reqs is basically essential for the AI to perform at any level atm.
