Do I still need v1.16f ?

Just heading into reading week, and I'm going home to set up my parents' new computer. Of course, I'll install Civ3 and "test" their system thoroughly

Anyways, what I'm wondering is if I'll need to install the v1.16f patch and then the v1.17f patch, or if v1.17f has all the info.
