Yeah, I stopped playing at number 3, they just didn't feel the same.
I have a WinXP laptop which can run CivDOS v5 (in either MS-DOS or Win9x compatibility mode, can't remember which), but (1) the graphics get blown up and distorted to a ridiculous degree on the 1280x800 monitor, (2) I have to exit the game if I want to do anything else and (3) I can't use any other sound option than the 'PC sounds', which I usually then switch off because they're so annoying!last weekend I actually tried to get my 1991 original DOS version to work with DOSbox - and it worked like a charm.
Would running CivDOS in DOSbox change any of those issues for the better?
And this site just told me that I can run F117 Nighthawk in DOSbox as well...
