Do u use the old or new

With it being a while that Play the World has been out is there any one here who prefer to play with the new civs or r u still using the original civs from civ3.

I myself like playing with Carthage now. The Numidian Mercenary is a good unit for me as i do not attack in early game and i think they hold the Swordsman at bay when im on the defensive.

Of course, the only single player games I have played is actually none. It would be Carthage though

i aint got PTW, what are the traits for carthage anyway?
i personally think the only way to better egypt is a better UU. the war chariot doenst rule the roost long enough to win games, and comes abit to early to be involved in big wars.

I like to play with german, their only weakness is worker speed so built more of them if you are used to play industrious. German got cheap barrack,library,harbor,university,airport and research lab. Plus they got free tech like monot,nationalism and rocketry.

German veteran units will promote to elite very easily and thus creating lots of leader. I wage war with veteran knight and most of the time i will rush built sun tsu, sistine and bach with leader.

If you have built sun tsu, then newton college will trigger a golden age for you in a very good time ( begining of industrial era ).

Once you reach motorize transportation and flight, rule the world with you amazing panzer ( a tank that can move 3 ) supported with bomber.

If you play german, dont expend too much, built about 5-6 city around your capitol and built temple, library. Cheap and early library will allow you to outech a.i. pretty soon ( regent level). If you had meet expensionist civilisation, search the tech that they already got from goody hut, sooner or later you will outech them.
Conquiere your neiborgh with knight and develop until panzer.

OTTOMANS RULE!
They are Scientific and Industrious, 2 GREAT traits.
I consider them also to be militaristic cus with them I get tons of Leaders. And the Sipahi Rules.
It can split though armies like a hot knife through butter.
