Do Windows saves work on Macs?

I was thinking of participating in a Divine Intervention game, but I dont know if I can edit a Windows save on a Mac. Is it possible?

You can, as long as everything is compatible. No custom assets, or Bug if that's what the thing needs, 3.19 or whatever version they are using...

I've Parallels desktop in my mac, and for a some long story I've BTS on Mac, Civ4 Complete on Windows. The saves can be both seen in mac or Windows on the saves screen, but beware of if it is played on a mod, or if that a game on the mac is on another user

Stupid question, but where do you place the saves in your civ4 folder? I've looked through it but I don't see any saves (don't even see my own saves).
