Do you choose or put random

I set my civ to 'random' and then I look away and I 'select' my opponents. Hehe.

That's because I always get CTD's when I have Korea in the game. It's a waste of time to set my opponents to random then I play a few turns and then I find out that Korea is in the game.

I tend to put everything to random except every once in a while when I really feel like playing as a certain civ, or against a specific enemy.

I allways put all AI civs random and sometimes my own civ too. Other settings I select myself.

I random, incl my own civ.

I usually play random, but see mostly the same civs, because of the culture selection thing. I tried picking civs a few times and it seemed like the game was much harder, even at the same level, everything else equal.
