Do you play the scenarios?

I just started the Steam-punk thing.

It's odd that all the leaders in that scenario are men.

It's a little weird starting out with three settlers but I guess they have to get you going quick.

I play them sometimes. There are a few really great ones and a few not worth my time at all

Into the Renaissance and Conquest of the New World Deluxe are most interesting and fun for me,
I like the Civil War too, actually planning to start a game of it.

It's not as much a civ game as a tactical war game, fun.

I've played the Fall of Rome and Scramble for Africa scenarios a bunch.

Hold on, why is that odd? IIRC about 95% of the world leaders is male. I completely understand that they are all men.
