Hey,

I have labeled the recent fixes as 1.16.2 and made a patch for them, because they were pretty common and everyone should have easy access to them outside of git. The full installer has also been updated and is currently uploading.

The patch is attached. Even though it says "1.16.0 to 1.16.2" it can be applied even if you are already on 1.16.1.

can someone help me how to update?

I have 1.16.1 currently.

I downloaded the 1.16.2 file and extracted it to a folder, but how do I update my civ game with these files?

Do I just drag this downloaded folder onto the 1.16.1 folder and replace all?

That's right. The content of the zip file should match the content of your existing mod folder, in this case I think containing only the Assets folder. Simply move/extract its content into your mod folder and overwrite all.

Can I confirm, if Im downloading Dawn of Civ from scratch, the download automatically incorporates 1.16.2?

Yes. The most recent download is 1.16.2. No patch is needed.

Yes, they should be.

Hey guys,

I got confused about something. Now, in my tech tree, I got Macroeconomics enabling Central Planning while my friend has Labor Unions. Which one is ver 1.16.2? Damn, I can't figure it out. I think I am out-of-date. I think I remember playing Russia in the old version and it was Macroeconomics that enabled Central Planning. But, was it 1.13, 1.15? pfff. Changelog (1.16) tells me that "Central Planning: now requires Labour Unions..." Help a fellow stoned civ-geek out. Peace.

That is strange. If your changelog includes "Central Planning: now requires Labour Unions", than you should have v1.16.1 or newer. The commit that changed the code and added this message to the changelog was commited after the release of 1.16, but before 1.16.1. That should mean that Labour Unions should enable Central Planning for you as well.

Macroeconomics does enable the State Party civic. Could it be that you confused both, because both are connected to communism?

Short answer is you are out of date. Not sure if you were looking at your local changelog or one online, but in any case you should update. If you are unsure, just delete the mod and do a clean install to definitely be on 1.16.2.

Hey merijn_v1,

No, brother, turns out I'm not confusing them. Yesterday night, I might have been :) The case was that I patched my 1.16 with the file on this post, yet the tech tree remained the same. I re-checked it all this morning, deleted the whole setup re-installed it and all is good now. Peace.
