Thank you for your help,
I put the Git Hub into a desktop folder and moved everything over. Now all scenarios are working.
There are some bugs but I suppose they are Git related, such as units in water and stuff like that.
Would the game be broken if i downloaded the graphics modules as well?

You can always download e.g. the VD module and copy it into the mod directory, as long as you overwrite everything. However, if you do so, you can no longer get regular updates through git because some files will be in conflict.

hmmm.
I tried to 'pull' and my permission is still denied.
I have attempted to use Git as an administrator but it does not seem to act any differently.
