Does buying the BNW expansion include G and K?

My friend has vanilla and he wants to experience the latest and the best.

So he is thinking of buying expansions

However does BNW include G and K + DLC civ like korea and mongolia?

I don't think it does. I upgraded my Civ V to Gold through Steam before I got BNW, which only cost me €10. That gets you G&K and all the pre-BNW DLC.

BNW include the game concepts of G&K but not the scenarios or any civ from previous DLCs

btw Mongolia is a free DLC.

Edit: and just as thelesserevil said, to buy a gold upgrade is probably not that expensive.
