Hi there, guys.

After a kind of long while, I've deciuded to reinstall Civ3 in my PC.

But a doubt arose: When I first intalled Conquests, I had PTW in the machine. Now, to install conquests, do I have to install PTW first (I tend to think not), or if I install without PTW, do I loose anything in Conquests (like, for instance, if PTW civs are only added by the PTW instalation).

In short - does the instalation of "Conquests" render the instalation of PTW unnecessary?

Regards :).

You are correct. Installing Conquests requires Civ 3 Vanilla only, but if you do have Civ 3 Complete you must put disc 1 in and start the installation etc. Again PTW is not necessary to play Conquests, just Vanilla.

You lose a couple of unit packs too, which can be d/l'ed off of www.civ3.com. These packs are needed for some mods, like Rise and Rule. Look under the Civ3:Conquests d/l section to get them.

Well, I don't plan to play mods, so if that is it, I'm not gonna download them.

Thanks anyway, turner and all the others.

Regards :).
