Does the game end?

Has anyone finished the game?
I'd like if anybody could post a savegame of immediately before the end

the mechanics of the game encourage you to retire in your 40s as your abilities deteriorate , its wether you retire as a lord or a pauper

The game never ends - it's up to you to decide to retire to end the game. Once you've gotten all the possible points (126 maximum), though, you CAN continue playing and accumulating more gold, but it's probably better to retire and start a new game.

The above file contains an 'end game' savegame file. Unzip it into your saved game folder and then doubleclick on the unzipped file - that will start up Pirates with that file loaded.

The game has the ship paused just outside Campeche, with 122 of the 126 possible points. If you go into a city and retire, the 'gold' this pirate has accumulated will bring the WEALTH points up from 20 to 24, giving the total of 126.

And yes, I DID use a trainer to get these results.
