My computer specs are
3.0ghz, 80gb, 128 radeon x300, and 1gig ram

I was wondering if the Radeon x300 would do the trick? I saw lots of other posts have problems with their graphics cards and wonder if it this graphic card runs the game smoothly.

I don't want to buy another game that gives me jerky screens when i scroll around in the game. That happened when i bought Age of Empires 3 with minimum system specs of 64mb graphics card ram as well

I would appreciate any replies. Esp if u are using this graphic card

I run the game with a x300 and 512 ram and I can run the game with more or less no video problems. The only real issue is that the game slows very much down in late game and it takes a long time to finish a turn. But seing you've got 1 gig ram i think you'll run the game just fine. But then again, im sertainly no expert. However in the end of the day, i get a lot more fun out of the game than frustration.

I have an X300 with a P4 D and 1Gb DDR2 RAM.

Playing on a large Map with medium settings it will eventually run out of video memory when you get the world map in the last 80 turns or so, very annoying!

Actually, it doesn't get choppy, movies etc play fine, it slows down as it goes along though not that much and then boom ..... it just crashes and gives the out of memory message.

I'm no judge on graphics cards and their merits, best ask around in here, I'm sure someone could advise

3.0ghz, x300 128MB, 1GB RAM

The game has run perfectly for me right from the original release and all through the different patches. I have graphics set to max detail / textures, but with AA switched off. Only stuttering is in the opening movie, which is now set up to be permanently bypassed; wonder movies are fine.

Large maps take slightly longer to load, but I have had no trouble finishing them, even after the entire map has been revealed.

So, the X300 should have no trouble with this game.
