Anyone know if a regular Wall's +50% defense and the spell Wall of Stone's 50% stack?
Just dont want to waste my time with Adepts otherwise.

Adepts are well worth the waste of time, as you only get mages, conjurers, etc. from level 4+ Adepts i.e. you cannot build them.

So unless you have no intention of using magic at all, I would certainly build some, if not only for the ability to cast fireballs (with access to fire mana, of course).

On a different note, I've found the wall of stone spell mildly useful in a limited amount of situations, but I wouldn't build an earth mana node just for that spell.

Not that it is particularly relevant, but since the question has been answered I thought I'd mention that I recently got the DLL in version to work in such a way that will let me change Wall of Stone from creating a building in cities to creating a temporary fort-like improvement on any tile, and revert it back to what it used to be after its duration is up. (You could thus get an instant fort on top of a useful town or even unique feature tile without having any permanent setback.) If it were for some crashes probably caused by art issues when I merged my 0.40r version with 0.41a I might be releasing a new modmod in a week or so. As it is, I'll probably wait until after FfH or FF moves to the BtS 3.19 patch before doing any more work on it. I should probably focus on studying for my Hydraulics test and Stuctures homework anyway.
