I've noticed when I play as certain characters [as well as a friend of mine], that surrounding leaders tend to act in a certain way. Is this just me, or do you kind of have a set personality when you start? I mean, you do have different hostility levels and such per character... hmm. Any thoughts?

I'm not meaning to be rude, but is English your first language?

Anyway, to the OP, I haven't noticed anything like that.

I will play to my civs advantages. Gandhi has more peaceful advantages where khan should be at war. I play them as such typically.

So basically, other leaders around you see you as either more peaceful or more prone to war based on the leader you choose? Or do the advantages of certain leaders mean you should act one way or another?

Civ's do not have a bias towards one another. (They do have a bias towards City-States and to what their initial attitude is when they first meet a different Civ, however).

Civ's each have specific flavors that they put an emphasis on. Some Civ's put a heavy emphasis on more peaceful pursuits like improving tiles, while other Civ's put a greater emphasis on building defensive units.

How their actions play out towards each other is purely luck of the draw regarding what Civ's you have in you a particular game.
