Gilgamesh/Sumeria [16] (15+1) You can start your domination game from turn one. With war-carts you don't even need to build settlers, just overwhelm your neighbor with an OP unit with no weaknesses. Build ziggurats for a boost to culture and start that snowball.

Lady Six Sky/Maya [6] (9-3) - Their combat strengths and archers lend more towards defensive than aggressive play. And as they conquer cities across the map, those cities are penalized. They are designed to be a turtle civ.

You can easily conquer an entire civ in those 10 turns and then move on to the next target with another territorial war.

Lautaro/Mapuche [12] (15-3) - if your enemy is not in a golden age, Mapuche are pretty much a vanilla conquest civ, with nothing special about them. Their loyalty gimmick doesn't really help, since it is not enough to capture a city with properly good loyalty, and one with low loyalty will turn anyway, sooner or later.

Suleiman/Ottomans [18] (17+1) - this is my first vote in this thread, and I was torn between so many excellent conquest civs! The ability to cheaply buy a unit in a captured city, combined with boosts to loyalty and siege damage, allow for unstoppable charges across the map. Awsome.

Lautaro/Mapuche [13] (12+1) On a higher difficulty it's not unlikely that you'll find an enemy in a golden age and if that happens, +10 combat strength is nothing to sneeze at. Shouldn't be voted down before civs with no combat advantages at all IMO.

Simón Bolívar/Gran Colombia [22] (21 + 1) My first vote goes to GC, by far the most powerful Domination civ now. The +1 movement alone is big, allowing powerful Archer rushes and making Catapults much better. With the unique GGs, Bolívar becomes an unstoppable conquest machine in the Classical era.

Tamar/Georgia [6](9-3) For a civ to go for domination incredibly effectively, you need to have a bonus to either attack or movement. Contrary to what chess would have you think, walls and castles can't move.

Pachacuti/Inca [13] 12+1Inca voted down in first stage? Joke. It doesn't matter if "good at domination" means do it easy or do it qiuicker than ever. Inca guarantees: productive early cities, very strong faith pantheon. All you need is mass built scouts, than upgrade. Warak'aq is absolutely devastating and tunnels mean teleports making everything faster. Even if not the easiest like Zulu and others, definitely the most fun way of doing domination

Poundmaker/Cree [9] Yea... really? Ever tried to train Okis on neighbour / city state? I agree not top half, but way too early. At least loyality nearly immunity make him better than at least 10 civs on the list
Qin Shi Huang/China [12]
Robert the Bruce/Scotland [3] 6-3 Absolutely the worst at domination. The more you war, the less impactful is the only one unique, that sometimes work. At domination game, even enlightment is turned off. Maya at least has strong UU

Poor, Canada. Snuffed out before it can be discussed again. With Canada you can: 1. Choose when you want to go to war, like when your neighbour is already engaged, 2. Have extra strategic resources, especially oil, 3.Get tons of extra amenities from National Parks. The Mountie sucks in combat, but they make good scouts after they make their park (a lot of UU are overrated anyway...except when they're not, haha). That being said, they should be near the bottom of this list anyway. If Firaxis is listening PLEASE BUFF CANADA. But, I digress.

Jayavarman/Khmer [6] [9-3] So you can saddle up for war with siege elephants and pull yourself away from his other bonuses. Then you realize siege units exerting ZOC isn't the recipe for accelerating a war. Faith is a nice economy for renaissance warfare, but I'm not sold he has better faith gen than the average civ. You can generate relics and go that route, but that's pulling you away from war. Jay-V has 99 problems and domination is definitely 1.

Shaka/Zulu [17] [16+1] +15 combat strength at Mercenaries is just too good to not be considered top tier. I normally wouldn't advocate rushing with anti cav, but the +15 completely negates any rival melee bonuses towards them. The also rank up faster, get additional flanking bonuses, and are dirt cheap. i would recommend building a couple of corps and forming the remaining for free by last hitting cities with single units. When attacking in Medieval, one must usually worry about opposing Xbows and Knights or Coursers. The bows bounce off them and cavalry of any kind get laughed at.

Tomyris/Scythia [16] (15+1) The ability to instantly gain a free copy of light cavalry units upon building one, the Saka Horse Archer not requiring any strategic resources, and Tomyris' +5 strength against wounded units ensures that you can very quickly build up a formidable cavalry-based army and easily overwhelm an enemy's army. The fact that the light cavalry units bonuses extends all the way to Helicopters in the Atomic Age also means that this capability isn't limited just to early-game domination.
Trajan/Rome [15]
Victoria/England [15]
Wilhelmina/Netherlands [12] (15-3) De Zeven Provinciën comes too late in the tech tree for it to make a real difference, and the culture bomb from Harbor's is such a small situational advantage, Wilhelmina may as well be a vanilla civ when it comes to domination.

Alexander/Macedon [17] (16+1) Literally designed around domination. You get two UUs, one for besieging cities, the other for mopping up any units caught outside. You have no war weariness so once you start, you don't have to stop. And there's eurekas and inspirations from conquering, so you're heavily incentivized to do so. And as if that wasn't enough, ALL your units heal when capturing world wonders. They were the OG Gran Colombia back in the day.

Qin Shi Huang/China [9] (12-3) They're a defensive, builder civ. They have crouching tigers and great walls to protect their wonder whoring cities. This isn't a Scientific or Cultural victory elimination game, so this time they're not going to be at the top.

Alexander/Macedon [18] (17+1) I very much agree with @Kmart_Elvis here. Personally, I find his brand of domination surprisingly fun. He's my go-to warmonger because I enjoy the style of constantly sustaining momentum through your conquests... Very thematic.

Mansa Musa/Mali [12] (15-3) There's a case for saying that their gold/faith based economy can let them buy an army more easily than other players but most of the time your early army tends to stick with you and get upgraded as the game goes on, and I'm not sure how much it compensates for their very slow start. Again, a civ I love but maybe not the best domination civ in the game.

Lady Six Sky/Maya [7] (6+1) She’s actually decent at conquest because she has a very strong technological edge and excellent early archers, not to mention easy early conquest against neighbors who had the misfortune of settling near her Capitol. Though the conquered cities aren’t great, domination victory isn’t about adding yields to your own, it’s about wiping opponents off the map.

Lady Six Sky/Maya [4] 7-3 Maybe Mayans are better in science in some circumstances, but usually not. Strong early UU is not a big advantage, when conquered cities have (a little) penalty and campuses there are harder to utilise when Mayans are unable to use common campus adjecencies.

Suleiman/Ottomans [19] 18+1 Probably my favourite for pure domination game. I am not a big fan of a governor, but I crazy love fantastic synergy between 2 unique units. Janissaries are also half priced when gold / faith buying, so what I do is just making 2 corssairs (and they have no counter that time) able in 1 turn pillage abundant amounts of gold and faith, enough to raise in 1-2 turn army able to conquer the whole world. Corssairs also make easier taking other continents before other civs can do, because they come so early

Jadwiga/Poland [12](15-3) Poland is geared towards religion and defense. You want to have a bunch of forts and encampments as them, which is better for surviving aggressive neighbors than destroying the world.
