Team MIA, don't play yet, please. We're having ainwood just do a bit of maintenance on the save (nothing illegal was done, don't worry - it's to fix an issue with CivAssist II not being able to read the save)...give us a few hours.

It's to fix that issue with CA2, so if you guys can hold off a few hours, that'd be great, thanks! :goodjob:

I've fixed a corruption with the save, and its attached.

Note: there IS STILL SOMETHING SCREWY!

I noticed that your team is apparently receiving TWO copies of the same
deal (you can see it on the trade table). I suggest that this is another
corruption. I could try to fix it, but I think it would risk changing
other unforeseen things in the save, so its best just to let you cancel
one of the deals.

I see what he is talking about - TNT is listed as sending us silks twice, but I don't know how to cancel one since they each have 19 turns to go.

EDIT - sent PM to ainwood to ask for additional guidance. I guess it will have to wait until after work, unfortunately.
 
I didn't think TNT could cancel them either (except by declaring war on us or otherwise breaking the trade route). I thought it had to run for 19 more turns - is there an option to cancel that I'm missing?
 
I think you can cancel in the diplo screen ... goto active trades ... highlight and cancel ... I don't think it automatically declares :confused:

but if they re-establish a new trade is shouldn't matter.
 
I suggested perhaps:

1.) Checking that the game is actually exporting 2 lots of silks - ie do the counts for silks in the city / trading screens tally-up with the amount in the deals? (they may not...)
2.) Can't you just disconnect one source, then reconnect it?
 
I'm not sure about the trade thing... (We can't disconnect a silk, because we don't control the silks) and I don't have time to check right now - sorry :sad:

I have a feeling that Chamnix will be looking at the save in a couple of hours (based on past turns).

I wonder if we should simply try to play through this turn, and have TNT confirm how many silks they are shipping us. That may be the only way to nail down what is actually happening.

Yeah - Its the other team that needs to disconnect them - but you guys should at least be able to see whether you have access to two lots of silks in the city screen.
 
We only have 1 silk in our city boxes. TNT only has 2 connected (unless they have a colony), and I hope they would have noticed if they didn't have any in their city boxes. I think the game only views it as one deal.

I doubt TNT can spare the units to disconnect and reconnect, but it doesn't look like it's a real problem. Unless there is any strenuous objection (I noticed Ginger Ale is online now), I'm going to play the turn soon.
