Hi

YAY!! BAT finally got updated and I am loving it :).

I do have one question though about the dotmapping tool. I turn it on and off using alt x or alt f10 and it looks like it will be VERY handy. But when I was playing around with it and I havent been able to figure out how to "undo" a dot if I decide I want to move it or just delete it. Is there a way to undo the dots once you put em down?

Sorry if this question been answered somewhere else. I did a search for things like BUG dotmapping tool but havent found any info if it possible or not.

Right-click on an existing dot to remove it. Right-click on an empty tile to exit dot-mapping mode. This works just like Civ4's built-in sign-placing tool (ALT + S).

Also, use CTRL + X to hide/show the dots without entering edit mode. This allows you to leave them visible while you move units or take other normal actions. You only need to use ALT + X to place/remove dots.

Hi

Coolies, tyvm. I THOUGHT it was right clicking but it never seemed to work but I figured it out. If you right click on the dot the dot still shows until you exit out of edit mode then reenter it and after you reneter THEN its gone.

Now maybe I might start placing cities better :D.

Actually, the dot is actually gone as far as the mapping goes. However, since you're in edit mode, it always shows a dot and cross (brighter by default) where the mouse is so you can see where it will be placed if you left-click.

At least, that's how it should be working. Remove a dot and then move the mouse. It should be gone while a new one will follow the mouse pointer.

Originally I hid the mouse-following dot after you removed a dot until you moved to a new tile. This made it obvious that it was gone, and I might return that behavior as it may be more intuitive for people.
