Doughnut or donut? That is the question!

Donut gets the point across just fine.

Donuts. Is there anything they CAN'T do?

Doughnuts, of course.

We know how to spell over here, remember. ;)

Doughnut, even though one does never eats the silly disgusting things.

Donut, of course.

No that's not the question.

The real question is whether said object has a hole through the middle or whether it's stuffed with jam or some other vile substance.

Doughnut...

Well, Krispy Kreme spells it 'doughnuts' while Dunkin' Donuts has the other variant, and no one seems to care.

Where are the altercations and filings?? :p

Doughnuts though I don't eat them! Too sweet.

I speak English the way it should be spoken.
I say 'Doughnut' thank you very much...

Also don't forget to put the 'u' in 'harbour!'

Doughnut. Anyone who knows me refers to me as the 'Grammar Nazi.' I couldn't take calling it a donut.

According to the New Webster's Dictionary it's doughnuts, won't 'donuts' be pronounced 'do-nuts' techincally?
