Civnet are and has been a abandon/free ware for some time now and I base this on that you can download it from <deleted> site. However I have problems getting it from there and kindly ask if anyone else somewhere to download this marvelous piece of art.

"Abandonware" is a legal fiction. There ain't no such animal.

Civ1 is not yet in the public domain, and may still be purchased either in (rare) game collections in stores, or from Ebay.
