Download, installation instructions & troubleshooting

I dont seem able to download the actual Mod. All the links download the Extreme Edition!! Therefore I have tried everything but the mod is different.

Am I being stupid or what?

Also has this been taken off steam because I cant find it when I tried to unsubscribe

Ignore me. I was being incredibly stupid. I re-read the instructions all carefully tried manually extracting the files once in the mod rather than let the computer do it(as I said for some reason it kept on trying to download Extreme, but I guess I didnt follow the steps in order - my fault)....

I would suggest other people READ the actual steps in full rather than skim read them quickly like I did and miss something.

OK I've downloaded the mod and extracted the files with 7zip in the mods folder. i can activate the mods and go to the scenario menu and can set up the game. It crashes on the loading screen every time on every map?

I downloaded both files, placed them in the Civ 5 MODS folder, opened up Civ 5, and clicked on mods. Both files, I believe, were extracted, and I enabled the Data Files, but when I clicked next there was no option to pick a scenario. I have both G&K and Brave New World expansions. Do you have any idea what the problem is?

the OS or the GPU. But I can't be sure and won't suggest a hardware upgrade if it's not needed.

All I know is that the mod's works on a Geforce 8800GTX, I didn't tried on older/lesser GPU.

Seems that R.E.D. WWII Edition is not correctly installed, is it listed in your mod's menu ?

It is listed in my Civ 5 MODS folder, but it is not listed in the mod's menu in Civ 5. I re-installed it and it went through some extraction in Civ 5, but the scenario screen still did not show up. It still has the .civ5mod in the folder, does that mean that it was not extracted correctly?

So I've been really enjoying the mod, and playing different scenario's successfully with a few crashes here or there. It's been great. Then, today, I start the mod, only the start game screen has changed. There is no longer a "start hotseat game" or whatever that option is, and the background graphic is gone. The game crashes upon trying to get it to load.

Any ideas what has happened and how to fix it?

Hello guys, first i wanna thank you for making this great mod, i have been playing it long time

now i downloaded the latest v.38 of the mod and i can't launch the game with it, every time it says the R.E.D dll is not activated. i have cleaned my cache folder but no help.
the last rows in LUA log looks like this

[3632.109] ModsMenu: - Activate/Deactivate MODs...
[3632.109] ModsMenu: ERROR: Custom DLL not found !

and also i have CvGameCore_RED.dll in the mod folder

if i do so that i first deactivate the mods and go forward, then back again, activate them and go forward again i can choose a scenario to play but the game crashes when starting it.

Hey, i have 1.0.3.18 version, so I downloaded Data v.4 and Mod v.37.b (apparently support 1.0.3.18), but when pasted files to MODS, I check the mods option and anything I see is Data v.4, Mod disappeared somewhere :< Later, I downloaded Data v.4 and Mod v.38 (only 1.0.3.70), I enabled mods, but menu tells me: R.E.D. WWII Mod Edition.dll is not working, bla bla bla. Answer is obvious: download the patch. I've searched 2 hours and didn't found anything.

I have done as the install instructions tells me, and only enabled those 2 main mod's, all is upp to date, I have all dlc's and latest version of the mod and I have cleared the cache folder.
But when I start the game and click "go to war" or what ever it says if freezes, I se the map, the unit but I can't click anything.
