Download question

I have Civ III: Complete, and I wanted to download some new units/scenarios for my game from this website. After I click to download the file and its on my computer as a zip file, what I do to put the file into the game and get it working?

I have Civ III: Complete, and I wanted to download some new units/scenarios for my game from this website. After I click to download the file and its on my computer as a zip file, what I do to put the file into the game and get it working?

For scenarios, open your Conquest folder in Programs/Civ3 and add the .big map and any additional folders that comes with the scenario. Then, after starting your CivIII game, the new scenrio will appear under Civ-content on the opening screen of the game.

As far as units, that depends. If they are units accompanying a scenario, they should be included already in the accompanying folder along with the .big map (at least that is normally the case).

Otherwise, I will let someone else explain how to add new units for general game usage, as I my ability to explain it might screw you up.
