Interest in certain historical time periods have made me an avis scenario dowloader. Now here's the problem: NONE OF THEM WORK! I've tried downloading them into my civiii/conquests/scenarios folder, and it won't show up when i try to play it! i tried civiii/conquests/conquests, and ALWAYS GET CIVILOPEDIA_PEDIALICOND ERROR messages. :wallbash: I must be doing something wrong, but what is it? And I have no clue as to what to do with individual buildings or resource packs. it would be great if i could actually use my downloads
P.S> My patch downloads worked finely.

The scenario folder is under Civ-Content, not conquests. I have no idea if that will help though.

well for most non-complex scenarios, where do you donload? Just one part, a few units unique to that scenario, no fancy graphics pack.

Maybe you can try this scenario:
http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=83432

It was broken first so get the actual version.

You should install into ...\Civilization III\Conquests\Scenarios and it should create a .biq and a subfolder named "MiChello's WWII".
You can open it under "Civ-Content" in the startup screen.

It worked fine for me. :)

If you still get the error try to uninstall C3C, Ptw and Civ3.
Reinstall CIV3, update to 1.27, install C3C, update to 1.20.
Try to install the scenario again.
If it still doesn´t work it is possible that one of your CDs is brocken. :( :vomit:

godbless u all
!

no wait nvm. i tried it, and had no idea what to do with the access files. Could you please tell me what to do with them? thanx.

o by the way, its another pedil icon error, even though i put it in the scenario folder.

Your folders should look something like these:
folder0.JPG

folder0a.JPG

Check it ==> if it is different make a (small) screenshot and post it so we can see the difference.

when i open up the last "units", the folder is completely blank! It seems to me that i have all the folders and none of the content.

Look out for these files:
screen0b.JPG

Use START==> Search to find them.

Maybe you should take a look at your .zip programm. There should be a checkbox which says something like "restore all folders and data".
Make sure it is checked.
