Downloads won't work

I have Civ 3 Complete. I have tried to download mods from Civfanatics using the path Computer/OS/Program Files (x86)/Firaxis Games/Civ III Complete/Conquests/Scenarios. and it tells me that it "Could not create the file Computer/OS/Program Files (x86)/Firaxis Games/Civ III Complete/Conquests/Scenarios/[Whatever I'm extracting]. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong!

One suggestion, and one question:

*The path looks rather odd. Usually it would look more like C:\Program Files (x86)\Firaxis Games\Civ III Complete\Conquests\Scenarios\[Whatever]. I'm also surprised your web browser isn't giving you a dialog from which to choose where to save it.

*Are you on Vista or Windows 7? Vista and later can sometimes give you trouble when trying to create/modify files in C:\Program Files (x86), amongst other folders.
