e-mail notification

Is there a way to update my CP without filling my E-mail box.
If I check no to E-mail notification My CP does't update the threads I've participated in but if I check yes I get about 600 E-mails.

I would like to just have notification go to my CP.

Obviously you've participated in, or rather subscribed to, too many threads.

A bit rusty on this but is your CP set up to auto-subscribe to any new thread you're posting in? If so, you may want to unclick that option. If there's such a thing....

AFAIK, the email notification thingie is to autosend an email when someone posted in a thread you're subscribing to, so the best option is to tone down on the no of threads you're subscribing to.

Otherwise, I think the subscribed threads in your CP shld be updated, email notification or not. Did you do a refresh?

Thats odd because I was getting LOADS of email notifications until I disabled the email thing altogether. I also unsubscribed myself to all threads but I still get the odd one or two through about really old threads from when I first joined here.

Let me clarify.
I like my CP to keep me notified on what I have participated in. If I don't manually subscribe. Auto Email off. I won't get updates on my CP. I'm not sure if manual E-mails me. I can't check at work anymore. Yahoo mail is blocked. I will check tonight.
