What's the earliest year you've had pollution on the map? In the game I'm playing as Zha Swan of China, a message popped up that "There is pollution near Canton"(or words to that effect) about... 1070AD? And you?

I once got pollution in my capital after building Richards Crusade in my capital. It was pre-1000 I think. I remember being really confused as to how a settler could clear pollution.

hehe yeah i got it from a bank before, i wonder what kinda pollution a 11th century bank creates? and how does it cover a whole tile of irrigation?
