Editing Advancements-need help

I set up my first edit but I seem to have lost the capabiltiy of picking which advancement I want when I load to game. Anyone know why or what I did wrong. Is there something I must check to allow player choice for advancements? When done I save my map to senerio section to load at game time is this right.

I have the strategy book but can't seem to find the answer to these questions. Thanks
