Built it for the fun of it. I was hoping we'd soon be at war with China and would end up razing those cities that are squeezing Hong Kong. I didn't count on the Chinese cities culture flipping to us...

1 1170 - A militaristic leader, Pggar III, is the new ruler of England.
2 1180 - Kzack tribe destroyed. English army being mobilized for the beggining of operation "That squirrel is mine".
3 1190 - Our army is now in position. Next turn war begins.
4 1200 - Huge offensive group in Chinese territory
5 1210 - Nanking is rioting. *Macao was destroyed. Canton and Shangai (along with 2 workers) were captured.
6 1220 - Softened Beijing's defense.
7 1230 - Out of 4 catapults only one hit something in Beijing, but in the end the Chinese capital is captured.
8 1240 - Discovered Education. Now pursuing Economics (first Banking) for Smith's Trade Corp. Great Library obsolete. Chinese still don't want to talk. I wonder why.
9 1250 - Temple built in Beijing. Chengdu captured along with 3 workers. Shantung captured. Still no word from chinese leader. So, the war continues.
10 1255 - Sistine Chapel completed in London. Finally Mao want to talk. Operation " That aquirrel is mine" comes to an end. In return of peace we receive 3 cities (Tatung, Tiesin and Macao), W map, 3gold/turn and 2 gold. The Chinese empire is reduced to 3 cities. I guess in 20 turns we finish them (just to avoid staining our reputation). The best part is that when they give the city to us the nationality of the people is english. The greatest military operation of the English empire has come to an end.
11 1260 - The people love their ruler. Palace improved (2 times in the same turn). We now have a pretty ugly palace.
13 1270 - Once again the English improve their beloved ruler palace. Traded territory map to the Russians W map + 11 gold.
15 1380 - End of my turn.
Combat Log
- One horseman (1220) lost fighting unfortified warrior on plains. (bad odd result)
- Two chinese archers were lost when attacking unfortified longbowman on grassland (good very odd results)
- 2 Horsemen (1250) lost fighting Chengdu's and Shantung spearmen
Summary
- In the next turn there will be an settler and a spearman in Sussex. I suggest you take them to the island to the east of our territory.
- Check cities production. I didn't paid much attention to it. I was too involved in the war.
- I'm tired, so if there's anything else to be said, it'll be said it tomorrow.

Well, peace with the Chinese didn't last very long. I decided our first priority was to establish a supply of iron from the deposit outside Bonn, and China was just in the way 
We've taken Tsingtao and Xinjian, and China is down to just two cities.
We do have iron now. Yay! And there was saltpeter on our territory after we researched gunpowder.
Corruption sucks. Rushed a courthouse in Coventry and it's now building the Forbidden Palace - might want to cut down some of the forest there for extra shields.
India sneaked round the coast and built New Madras in our territory. Bah.
Our settler has just landed on the small island to the east.
We need to rebuild the roads to the furs around Tsingtao, and build a road to the iron colony that isn't going through German territory (and then we can safely go to war with Germany to safeguard the iron supply )

1370 AD: English scientists develop maps of the skies and try to figure out how this will help England to build a great navy.
1380 AD: Chinan occupied. German settler and escort asked to leave our territory. Bismark says they will...
1385 AD: Barbarian uprising on the peninsula, workers killed!

1390 AD: German settlers surrounded. Ultimatum sent to Berlin. Bismark capitulates and settlers are gone. London builds Leonardo's workshop.

I reduced our science and luxury rates to accumulate gold for upgrading our forces. Once the upgrade is complete we should re-up the science rate. Luxury rate can stay down if we can import enough to keep the people .
Where do we go from here? I did not start any new wars though I think we should annex India.
It is not neccessary to do that - we could win any way we want.
See the blue guy with his back to the ocean and surrounded by orange guys? That's the German refugee/settler that kept wandering into our country. If he makes a city there I say we declare war on Germany!

Sorry, I didn't realize it was my turn. I was going to play the game, but as Lk, I lost interest because of the delays. I think chiefian is not a challenge as well. Next time start in a higher level and keep us updated.
