Always the brides-maid and never the bride won't apply to our new President anymore. After countless months (okay 2 months) as Vice President for the Civ 2 Demo game, he has finally been chosen by the people to lead the nation forward.

In the Domestic Advisor Election we have a veteran of the Democracy game being backed by a veteran to the position.

With our neighbors close by and our empire expanding, we will rely on the Military Advisor even more.

Along with our expanding empire we will be dealing with the restless natives much more, so the Foreign Affairs Advisor will lead the way.

Congratulations to all. Dell19, I hope we continue the same method of Governance. I see you have stepped in as Governor of Boreum, for which I am, as always, grateful.

I hereby advise Civ1 that we could continue the same method of Volunteer Governors, that he is Governor of Aonia, and might post a list of potential Governors. Surely Dell19 and Jayne, perhaps myself and MonkE as he sees fit, and other active posters that have the Civ2 software. Funxus ...

I won't Govern for the moment whilst I may be needed to take over from Octavian for a bit.

As for my Deputy Foreign Advisor, I've tried to think of someone who posts a lot but doesn't already have a post. I apologise to anyone I might have missed. So I ask former president Dell 19 if he'll be my deputy.

What's the plan for over Christmas? Do we continue playing? I know I can't guarantee availability between Christmas Eve and New Years Day (I certainly can't play turns then).

I guess we can all have a nice holiday as the Demo game does involve quite alot of work so quite a few people wont have the time...
