"Electronic Cigarettes"?

If you switch to these, you can start reducing how many you take without hurting others.

I still think cold turkey is the best way.

I suppose hipsters are the natural market for something like this, but they could be a little less obvious about it.
Hipsters (of the little-seen, often-discussed variety right out of the Monster Manual) make a point of rolling their own. I think that you're confusing them with tech-geeks.

Yeah this is the anti-hipster cigarette. Hipsters would not be caught dead with one of these things.

You can smoke in the house with these, they come in really cool flavors, and they light up. They're amazing.
I'll see your colourful light-up electrofags, and raise you a wizard pipe.

Seriously, when I'm old enough not to care any more, I'm going to take up smoking just as an excuse to wander around with one of these. ;)

I trash hipsters as much as anyone, but this doesn't make any sense to me.

Nah, its long been known hipsters don't know how to use it.
Or they do, but are getting it wrong to be ironic. :mischief:

(And I'm only half-joking there. I'm quite willing to bet that if you ever did meet a super-stereotypical, by-the-numbers hipster, he'd only be acting that way to take the piss.)

I've never seen anyone in North America do that. It seems to be popular in Germany though..

My dad had one of those but lost it after a week. However, he said it works quite well, even if the vapor tastes like crap compared to the real thing.

But eh, that's the general idea behind quitting - it WILL suck in some way.

Its all over here in Tennessee. Not just the hipsters though, as it is just a cheaper way to smoke.

I know a lot too, who like it because it makes them smoke less.

Oh yeah? Interesting

My parents used to do it in Germany - mainly because it was cheaper. They even had a fancy rolling machine.

I totally forgot that people do this, and when I saw a German teenager rolling a cigarette in New Zealand I thought he was rolling a joint... I was confused for only a couple seconds.. not confused that he'd be rolling a joint, but that he'd be doing it in the open like that.

Anyway, that's my little anecdote
