Warlords saved the cossack and the redcoat from an earlier elimination (and resulted in the praetorian taking more negative votes that weren't going to these units). The praetorian has been overpowered in both releases so it recieved a lot of votes praising this power and recieved a lot of votes from people resenting this power which (by the elimination rules) have more weight.
The redcoat and cossack were overpowered in Vanilla but had their power scaled back in Warlords. That way they kept a lot of nostalgia votes from people who enjoyed them in Vanilla and consequently still use them despite their lesser status and, of course, still got votes from people not using Warlords. But the negative votes were considerably fewer due to the nerf - people who didn't like their former power knew it had been removed and saw no need to punish them for it (so the praetorian got more of these votes).
Dissapointed by how poorly some units did such as the war chariot and the Gallic warrior. But I'm delighted with the Numidian mercenary. I think it's a great unit but - thanks to its reduced strength - was expecting it to recieve a lot of negative votes. Unfortunately, the jaguar hasn't recieved as much praise as it deserves and went out quickly for the same reason that I though the Numidian cavalry would.

I was dissapointed to see the Immortal and War Chariot do so badly, especially when the far inferior Fast Worker came fourth. I'm guessing many of the votes may well of come from users who don't have Warlords yet.
I think the bottom 6 in the list are about right. I propbably wouldn't have put them in that order myself, but they all deserve to be there because they really aren't that great. I quite like the Jag, but when compared to the top 18 UU's, it isn't really that great.
I think it's quite understandable for the Praetorian to do so badly. It might be super powerful for it's era, but that makes it boring. You just build up a decent sized army and storm through your continent with relativley little trouble. IMO, thats just not fun, and it would seem that many people out there feel the same.
