Email Notification Off Switch

I know, there already is an email notification off switch at the bottom of every new post screen. BUT: I do not want to have to press this EVERY time I post! I would like, in my profile, an on-off switch that will STAY that way until I press it again.

Why do I care about this? I have (no joke) 1059 emails from CFC! This has completely shut down my use of email, b/c I don't feel like deleting all of them, or waiting for all of them to load. I tried blocking emails from this site, but it only worked for a day.

Please consider this, I am sure it is a hassle for other people too.

Go to your User CP, then in "edit options" turn off email notification.

Problem solved.

Now I just have to go delete those 1059 emails by hand (my browser doesn't have a "delete all" option!!!!)

After toggling "e-mail notification" by default off, you may also have to unsubscribed the threads you have previously posted to while it was on. This would be done in the subscribed threads part of the control panel
