Empire:TW Crash

Anyone else suffering the problem that when they try and merge the same unit types together the game crashes? It provides me with a slight problem in force management, but was just wondering if it was me...

There are plenty of crashes currently. Happening in many situations.
Try updating to the latest version through steam or through the TW site, that might fix it.

Yeah I've been having that problem. It hasn't happened for a while now though. I quicksave every turn so its not a huge deal, but I shouldn't have to worry about stuff like that.

Hasn't happened yet, but the game does seem to chug to a halt when I try it. It eventually recovers. I'm patches thru the March 30, 2009 update.

BTW, can you do this during a battle, or is it meant to manage the forces on the campaign view? I seem to be able to drag the unit cards around during the battles. Besides just cleaning up the ranks, does it consolidate troop upkeep costs?
