Soldiers of the Kingdom of Mysore of southern India during it’s height under Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan, the Tiger of Mysore.

This pack contains both regular army soldiers, equipped with European influence, and local irregular force, as well as the famous Mysore rockets.

Thanks everyone.

very good, maybe some walachians in the future?

I'm working on modeling them now, although they'll be a while as I'm back at work. Although I could get them, and others, out faster if anyone wants to help with some grunt work.

I'm glad to see that Civ3 modding is alive and well with talented artists such as yourself Balam. Nice stuff here. You pick any area in the world and there is so much variety in cultures, India is just one example. I think we think of India as some sort of monolithic culture, but there is so much more to that area. There are many Indian cultures.

Wonderful as always.
I was just wondering, how big is the elephant unit? Is it the size of the War Elephant of the original, or is it the size of the other Elephant units.
To be honest, I think most of the elephant units made are out of proportion big.
Sorry if I brought this up before, but it's just a question.

Civ3 still alive...

Thanks, guys.

It's a fair question. I based the scale off of the PDM figure. An Indian elephant is about 2-3 m tall at the shoulder and i figured the PDM would be about 160-170 cm tall, so the elephant is 1.5 times the height of the human figures. I felt it better to have the human figures to scale. But neither scale is perfect.

If you, or someone else, wants, I can re-render some elephants at a smaller scale, but someone else will have to put the units together. I can supply the pallets and a tutorial if needed.
