Endless Legend 2 announced!

Amplitude has today announced the development of Endless Legend 2!
Like the first game, also the second part is a turn-based fantasy 4X game.
You can again choose from diverse fantasy folks to conquer the Endless universe and fight ancient evil gods.
It seems an insider program will also be available, for people who want to playtest and have early looks.
Also noteworthy is that after Amplitude's departure from Paradox EDIT: Sorry, incorrect, this was SEGA, this new Endless title will be published by Hooded Horse, who have also published Old World.

I tried starting Endless Legend sometime last year, I think it was when I found out they are giving the base game for free. Didn't understand much of the game and some random army kicked my ass after 60 or so turns and sieged my city. I quit. Reinstalled it last night after the news. Maybe I should try to actually learn it and not giving up after an hour, I like Amplitude's style.

If I may give a bit of advice to you and anybody else who might try the game now: If you own any DLC, turn it off for the first game, as it adds a lot of complexity. Also, I would recommend the Wild Walkers, Vaulters, or Drakken for beginners, as they can do well even without relying on their affinity.

Looks like we finally have confirmation that this is indeed what they put Kael (of Civ4 Fall from Heaven mod & Elemental Fallen Enchantress fame) on (& apparently he's confirmed it on Reddit too). Very exciting news!

Although I must admit I liked the unique 'Game of Thrones Intro' art style of the original and was looking forward to seeing the next iteration of that style but this looks like a different art style direction entirely. Looks cool but just wasn't what I was personally hoping for.. oh well, not the end of the world lol.
