REFORMS IN GREECE! With the growing discontent and anger against Italy for the losses in the Greco-Italian War of 1940, Greece has just elected the socialist party into office. The new party has vowed revenge on Italy and has joined alongside the Soviet Union in the growing global conflict.
RED ALERT! The Soviet Union has launched a general offensive on all borders except Scandinavia and Manchuria. Massive Soviet forces have assualted Italy, Czechslovakia, Romania, and Germany. Comrade Stalin has issued the April Manifesto stating that due to contual acts of aggression towards peaceful socialist countries, the Stonewall Pact has been declared illegal. As he stated in his speech: "The Stonewall Pact seeks the extermination of the communist progress across the world. If they want a war of extermination they shall have one!" Below is a listing of the raging battles across Europe.
ROMANIA CRUSHED! Massive Soviet forces advancing from Bessarabia and Bulgaria have launched a full scale attack which has resulted in the fall of the capital of Bucharest and the only port city of Constanta. The best Romanian troops were in France which meant that resistance to the great attack was minimal and the remainder of military resistance now comes from scattered remnants of the army in western Romania, who defend the uncaptured oil fields. In the air, Romanian forces have inflicted heavy casualties on the Soviet fighters, due to the vast superiority of the Sagitarrio against the YAK.

FIGHTING IN TRANSLYVANIA! Soviet forces have attacked into this mountainous region with heavy Allied resistance. Forces from Hungary, Romania, and Czechslovakia have all contributed to this area's defense. The Romanian city of Nipoch has come under seige to the Soviet forces but has not yet fallen. Soviet forces have penetrated as far as Hungary and is reaching flat land, only a thin part of the mountains remains under Allied control as the Soviets advance. As in the south, Allied planes demonstrate superiority to Soviet fighters and have inflicted heavy casualties.

BLITZKRIEG THROUGH SLOVAKIA! Soviet forces have broken through Czech border defenses and advanced deep into Slovakia. The local Slovakian nationalities have welcomed the Soviets as liberators and bask in promises to create a new nation. The Czech lines were broken after the largest tank battle in history, consisting of over 6,000 tanks. The loss of this battle, though it hurt the Soviets, has forced the Czechs back. This offensive threatens Allied positions in Poland, and could cause the entire German line along the rivers to be flanked. In this sector alone, surprise air attacks has gained Soviet air supremacy.

STALEMATE IN POLAND! German forces, taking advantage of local rivers have managed to half the Soviet advance just a short ways into Poland. The city of Warsaw is now under fire from Soviet artillery, and the local population seems prepared to rise up against the German occupiers. Casualties in this sector have been far lower than elsewhere as the Germans have performed a textbook strategic withdrawl.

DARING RAID OVER MINSK! A daring German Luftflotte commander, general Molders has launched a raid to attack the Soviet supply center in the city of Minsk. This attack was a complete success and undoubtly one of the reasons for the Soviet halt in Poland.
GREEKS LAUNCH OFFENSIVE! As Soviet forces attack in eastern Europe, their new Greek allies have begun an attack against Italian occupied Greece. As Italian forces were minimal in the region, advances have been made with minor casualties. In addition in a cunning move, a Greek task force has siezed the island of Crete under the very noses of the Italian navy.
IBERIAN WAR CONTINUES! With little resistance from Spainish forces, the British have taken Spainish Morroco and the Baeleric islands, in addition to Spain's scattered colonies across the world. Furthermore, the British attrition bombing campaign has continued to hurt the Spainish economy. Though the new communist jets have caused higher casualties among the British forces, the war is far from going in the commitern's favor.

FRENCH CIVIL WAR CONTINUES! Though the civil war has taken second place in many minds as the Soviets roll through eastern europe, a vicious conflict continues to take place in this devastated country. To the north, the people of Alsace-Lorraine and Saarbunken have voted unilateraly to join Germany, as it is viewed safer than remaining in the war torn country. The Republican French government has reluctantly approved the annexation. Two major fronts continue to be evident, even as the Italian forces halt their offensives to regroup.
ROMANIANS ADVANCE IN THE SOUTH! Thanks to the new Panther tanks, Romanian forces have managed to advance deep into the communist forces and have driven them into the Pyrennes mountains, though casualties have be minimal as few major battles have taken place.
PARIS UNDER SIEGE AS BREST FALLS! With the collapse of order amongst the garrisons of the French colonies, the communist forces have driven the demoralized republicans out of Brest and have begun an offensive against Paris, which once more rests under the shadow of communist guns. Casualties have been harsh as bitter fighting took place within the streets of Brest. Air fighting has been minimal as nasty storms rage across the country.

REVOLTS IN FRENCH COLONIES! The colonies of Syria and Tunisia have declared independence and siezed the local French garrisons' weapons. However, these new nations have more or less peacably sought republican france's approval in exchange for support against the communists.
PORTUGUESE SEND TROOPS TO GERMANY! The Portugal government in exile has sent some of their soldiers to Germany to assist against the Red threat and have placed them under the command of German generals. The Portuguese government has just requested official admission to the Stonewall Pact.
