Error reading from file

I'm trying to reinstal from a disk thats a little bit scratched. Every time the instal prosses gets to the Civ3Edit.hlp file I get an error message stating "Error 1305" and it tells me to "verify the file exists and that you can access it."

Is there any way to fix this?

Try a local video store and see if they have a scratch repair machine. You might be able to go to a local electronics store and get a home version, but they're not as reliable.
