Error transitioning to new age (antiquity -> exploration)

My first game, got this after selecting the Civ for the next age. The loading/splash screen and narrator's voice briefly shows up before crashing.

This seems to be related to playing the game on a non-administrator windows account as it is fixed when playing the game from my administrator account. Probably a niche issue so mods can delete.
