Error

Hello, I'm new to the forums.
So I'm pretty much a n3wb. The problem I'm facing is; whenever I try to open my game it says it's not responding and the screen goes white and doesn't work. The game I'm playing is CIV3: Gold, yet it says I need the Play the World CD. I have the CD in and it shows no further problems with it. But once I start the game the game turns white and "stops responding" and I have to close CIV via Task manager.

Civ3 Gold is the original (vanilla) Civ3, with the Play the World (PTW) expansion. Try running the game with any of the disks you have. Have you tried uninstalling the game completely and reinstalling it? Patch the games up to the latest patches and see if it works then.
