Escape From Zombie Island 2 ready for public consumption

Well, I tried playing Company at 12A, and I got Banks and POlice Station by Day 4 which zombies are running around with Mutants and I still have secruity and handful of robots. I say it doesn't go as well as I plan it to be. I believe the basic defense unit should be standard, I think badass cost 60? is so SWAT and Secruity should cost as much. Maybe try building a barriade in some cities in the begging of the game?

Bank is a must.

It gives you money. Then you should aim at getting the radio station. And use your king units a lot, but not stupidly a lot. That would really help the situation.

All the time, keep building the parts of the plan, using the secret lab.

you guys act like Ive never played this scenario...I took the bank first(due to proximity)...I was learning the "Keep em out" tech when the game turned hopeless...Im not sure what it is, but the happiness is impossible to control...You're right, the unit cost isnt too high, I just couldnt keep people happy enough to produce...

Maybe its the Gonernment settings?

As far as using the "kings"...2 of them are in the farthest city from the frey, the Dr isnt strong enough to survive until he upgrades(which Ive never seen)...Natasha and the Head of security are ok, but not much stronger than the zombies...The Director is great, if only he had blitz...

I would also like to note, that the "Kings" for the Company are all weaker than the "Kings" for the survivors...or maybe thats my perception..."Our Hero" Hanibal, can take out a few Zombies before healing is an issue...Natasha died at full health...

Maybe its me...I play this with survivors on Mature, and its hard, but doable...Playing the company seems impossible IMO...and if its just me, I would think that the company wouldnt die first every time, but they do...

in the 3 games Ive played recently, the Company has died first 2 out of 3 of them, and the only time they didnt die first, they died the next turn(after Authorities)...Zeb's Farm seems to do well, not sure why...The Game is funnest (IMO) as the survivors...

Company are a tough choice but they are the baddies remember. In a B movie they would all be expected to die in horrible and twisted ways. But seriously, I could address some of these issues:

- Blitz for the Director doesn't seem to be too unbalancing.

- Unhappiness: Now this is caused by the increased pop growth that I introduced in the last update. I could "fix" this in a number of ways but I'm not sure which is right: (1) restore the terrain food bonus to the settings they were before; (2) Introduce a new government type for Company that counteracts unhappiness; or (3) add another happiness improvement to the game. There are of course other ways to get this result and I'm open to ideas.

IMO, the food production could be changed, they grow too fast(?)...but does that apply to everyone?...or the Government change, that counter acts the food adjustment...(only adjusting the food, affects every civ, Im not sure all the civs need it)
And yess, like the military, in any B-zombie movie, the Cooroprate people are usually the first to go...then the military...and finally the 2 people alive make it to the helicopter(hey funny, thats how my game often plays)

I fixed the riot cop icon for ya...

Food bonus would affect everyone but an extra government could be made available to only the Company. Survivors already have Sheer Determination and Authorities have Martial Law. I can't think of anything catchy right now but it could be something ambiguous like "Contract Reference HR99" which points to section 16 subsection 13a paragraph 2 of the Company's ACT OF GOD POLICY and PROCEDURE written into every employee's contract of employment.

In the event of an act of God (including but not limited to: earthquake, civil war, zombie apocalypse, cyborg uprising), the employee, hereafter termed "expendable resource" will be required.. .. blah... blah... etc.. etc...

Sounds great. It reminds me of something I once read... maybe it can be used for inspiration?:
”We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men and women and their underaged children are created equally to serve the Corporation, to provide its labor without question, to accept whatever remuneration without complaint, and to consume its products without thoughts. In turn, the Corporation will provide for the common good, secure the defense of the nation, and receive the bulk of the taxes taken from the people…”
Now all you need is a tech with a cool name to "attach" the govt to... I guess they would need some sort of expert lawyers to do something like that - what about "Harvard SWAT team"? (in a figurative sense). Besides, qouting Magnolia is always a good thing (Stanley: "They look pretty smart, I think." Julia: "No they don't." Richard: "What are they gonna do - beat us?" Stanley: "Maybe." Julia: "We're not going out two days before we set the record, it's not gonna happen." Richard: "When they want us done, they'll call in the Harvard S.W.A.T team or some sh*t.").

Since it's a small paragraph in a middle of a huge instruction booklet it should be something like.. "that paragraph". No I was just kidding.

Corporate Ethic and Appliances: Act of God.

That's about all I can think of right now.

I smell a update :)
Yes, we can never get enough of those... too bad that there's still some graphics missing. Maybe I should spend some of my evenings on making some - to help improving this great scenario.
I'm playing as the Survivors right now (12A difiiculty). I've only got three cities left - but I can hold them thanks to the new sewer rats. The only heroes alive are "the Trinity" (Mr. and Ms. Tokugawa and Hannibal), all of them working on taking the Airport... I'm so close now. Unfortunately they have to fight without any support from the other Survivors.
Well, anyway - while building Sewer Accesses I realised that the Airport marker looked really wrong. So I made this:

Juul, I would be very happy if you would do some graphic work, in your spare time of course :) Thanks for the airport marker, I'm adding it right away.

Hi, I was wondering, is anyone working on civipedia? if not I think I could help.
No one is except Lord Malbeth has written a few entries a few posts back. Plotinus helped out on the last update so feel free to contribute. It's all very much appreciated.
