I'm getting the same problem too. However, the governments do not affect the ability to build certain units. What I think is wrong here is that the unit is available with an non-era tech, although I'm not sure on this one. Perhaps the unit should be moved to "Keep 'em Out", and see if that changes anything.

The graphics problem you are seeing, fe3333au, is just a glitch that happens when there are no polar ice-caps. It's no big problem, and you can clearly see it at the bottom of the maps in the Conquests. I'd suggest turning the icecaps back on, and replacing the graphics so they are invisible.

I think it's OK that the machine shop comes with the ability to produce veteran units- after all, it does come quite late in the game!

Have the survivors ever had access to the strippers resource? Because what you may be seing is "spare" left over from when they did have the resource- the AI love to build Strippers and Dockers.
 
The Stripper in old folks home is not left over as I am now playing as Survivors.

But mentioning this error ... I actually like having strippers for the old vets ... maybe even subsidised on the Healthcare Programme ;)

So if the error is fixed ... maybe a preplaced 'special massage therapist' would not go astray ... give her a Swiss name like Olga :lol:
 
Rush Mobile (out of gas) has defence/offence of 0 ... so for a unit to produce happiness in a city, is it dependent only if it has an attack and defence value?

Regarding Timmy he has no defence ... Zombies captured him and he was in the zombie stack but still controlled by me ???

That's unavoidable. It's the no polar ice caps edge of screen glitch.
 
More on the Retirement Home Hookers



I have checked the terrain around the building and can only find Cola and Old People.

Spare Parts (which is still 'tires' in the pedia and not the 'black blob' ;)
and Hookers are not visible and not registering in the terrain info mouse click.
 
I noticed that the Polar Ice Caps were taken out of the game...probably because they did not fit. I colored this File with Ocean Squares and sent them to King Arthur on September 5th...you just need updates.

And build the road again.

And I like the ability for cruisers to have lethal bombard... They can only kill 1 unit a turn anyways.
I would not be in favor of Lethal Bombard unless the other factions have a way to combat the cruiser.

The Machine Shop acts like a Barracks and only does one thing...produce Veteran units. The Reactor Room Key Location builds Machine Shops in all buildings.

Scavengers are not Authority Units. I am in favor of allowing the National Guard Clean Up ability.

This Scenario uses the CIV Game Leaders because no one has made new special Leader Images for this game or Leader animations for new Leader Heads which would all be a real chore.

Units such as Mr Tokugawa's Daughter that were placed in the game just need to be named.

Cars and the Truck do not have attack animations. Those units need animations that show them ramming back and forth or something for their attacks. IF not, at least a Horn Blowing or something for the attack.

Survivors are the Modern Worker and all of those files were put in as links. I see the warrior Fortify.wav was linked for the Fortify sound. I see that the .ini does not have a Flc set for the Fortify so this unit should use the Default flc automatically but that Flc is almost 2 seconds long so would not work for the Fortify, not to mention the Warrior sound fitting this unit. I will make a short animationfor a Fortify Flc and a Fortify sound.

As for the Strippers, any building that is connected to the Stripper Resource can build them. The retirement Home is connected by Roads.
 
Checked reason to be unhappy ... both reasons could be altered.

From ... "X% unhappy due to overcrowding" and "X% because of war with Mother Country"
To ... "X% are going stir crazy from being couped up" and "X% because we are all doomed"

No because I could build them in retirement home ... which is cut off from other buildings even before I took Gentleman's Club ... look at post 2767 it shows 2 anomoly resources.
 
Regarding Prom Queen ... what if she upgrades when Vuldacon does ???

Just change her stats maybe give bombard ... called her Psycho Prom Queen ... after all her dress is all ruined now :lol:

Also the Priest ... which has a big hassle getting to garage (maybe have him placed not directly next to church) ... could also upgrade with this technology (due to scarcity of Ammo for Survivors)
 
Question ... can you have more than one leader active ??? ... or do you need to use it or convert it to a champion before another can appear ???

Pedia ... noticed that the Farmers have a Guard Dog ... if they can 'produce' them, then the pedia should be altered as it only mentions Authorities and Survivors having access to this unit.

Only 1 active at a time. You need to use it before another will appear.

fe3333au...The Retirement Home is Not Disconnected. It is on a Road and it is connected. The stripper has already been set where it cannot be built so for what ever reason you had one...you won't any more unless you gain the brothel.

The Priest has been taken care of with moves 2.
 
@Vuldacon ... I'm confused ... How come the Trade Screen shows that the retirement home is not connected then ???

Also the road connecting it runs through the graveyard and hospital which are both in Zombie hands in my game.

The spare parts is in the Hospital boarder ... I cannot understand how it was accessible to Retirement Home.

@Vuldacon ... Cola was always there and it is within the control zone of the Retirement Home.

This is the state of borders before I took Hospital ... and posted various screenie info.



Assuming the it is the same resources, I cannot understand how the resources were accessible to Retirement Home when I was warring with the Zombies and the only road was cut off by this ... also a mutant zombie is standing on it :confused:

Zombies have bats and squid. Zeb has the cropduster and exploding sheep. Company doesn't have anything, and neither does the survivors. (aside from importing exploding sheep)

Though I suggest the company have like a Company submarine or something, and the Survivors get something along the lines of a hand built cannon or moarter.
 
Regarding Sheep ... what if Farmers can build a Sheep Pen that spawns the little critters, but only if Sheep resource is in the building radius.
