Escape From Zombie Island 2 ready for public consumption

d.highland... Well we plan to have a new thread and the game will probably be placed in completed MOD Packs.
...I am also sure that there will be a few Updates after it is released to replace some existing units with better ones. This is one of the reasons that it is not released yet...trying to have all as complete as possible in every way.
It will be uploaded for the testers to play just before the release but all has been personally tested and there should not be much to adjust. The main reason for the test will be to get feedback and if there is anything that was overlooked, it can be adjusted.

odintheking... Great, are you applying the same unit game sounds or something else?

Well, I like to gather my unit sounds from everywhere. I'll be using some generic civ 3 sounds, with some custom ones, too, :). I realize sounds are very important.

BTW, here's a preview of Badass Hannibal, with AK-47. This guy is coming along pretty easily,

this is gonna be a great scen after i download it:D.
oh and king my hat is off to u for make what looks to be like an awsome scen:goodjob:

odintheking... Yes, sounds really help units to be even better. When you get the sounds you want, I can help you with the timing etc... if you like.
Looking good...will he hold the Weapon against his shoulder or lower away from it? seems a little high.

Better from that angle but still seems high...this is probably the Gun Butt above the shoulder as well as the hands. If the Weapon is held too high, it can create a sort of awkward, stiff or un-natural look. Try placing the barrel at shoulder level or slightly below. Have the top of the Gun Butt at least at shoulder level but not above...if lowered, that should take care of it all.

I think the major thing that makes this look awkward is that the gun is poining the wrong way. The butt is on his right shoulder, so the gun should run across his body with the muzzel on his left (currently it goes to the right).
Additionally if his left hand was holding the forend rather than the clip, it would help to lower the gun into line with his shoulder.

#edit
sorry about posting this after you finished the animations involving the weapon.
I finished all the animations except for death and run for this guy.

I misread that as "I finished the animations death and run for this guy."

Yeah, I've already rendered most of the animations. Sorry. Plus, that stuff is really hard to do in Poser (for a noob like me, at least). I lowered it a little, and at civ-scale you can't really tell.

The New Version has been worked on constantly for the past seven months and is about finished for release.

Great News indeed :woohoo:

fe3333au... Good to "see" you. Yes, all is going very well. Plotinus is making the Old War Vet and la_dav the Company Car. I just finished the Crawling Brain and added the Monster Spider as well as two new Techs "Horrible Things" and "The Dreaded" for the Zombies. Adjusting those units, Techs and making sure the game play is as desired concerning those additions.
When we have the Old War Vet and Cars added and sounds made etc... We will be uploading for the Testers last play test before the Release.
King Arthur and I have tested all factions personally so we know directly all that is in the game but it is always a good Idea to Test.

Other Units that we want replaced with more specific units will be made and added as Updates so they will not prevent the Release.

It has been 8 and 1/2 months now and I feel every day and night of it...I think it has been worth all the effort and especially with the Great New units others have made to contribute to this Game.
You will be suprised with the changes and additions :)

It was already an outstanding scenario. It's going to be great fun seeing how the new version builds on it, especially as I know you've both taken such care over getting it just right. I take it you'll be releasing it in a new thread rather than updating this one!
