How about Sunday at 2:00 p.m. then?
What time zone? U.S. Eastern?
I claim Chimu.
Just kidding. I'm split three ways in which country I want.
- Ottomans. Plus: Seems like a good country to play, lots of events. Minuses: I've somewhat played them once before, but that was to 1500 and was as the Greek Orthodox Ottomans, not the Ottoman Turks, and was going poorly due to putting too much effort into (ultimately, unsuccessfully) helping Byzantium capture Italy.
- Sweden: Plus: Strong in the region, some events, possible expansion in multiple directions. Minus: Have played them for 30-40 years, start the lesser partner under Denmark.
- Hungary: Plus: Haven't played them before, could have interesting political/war situations. Minus: If anyone else is playing Austria, or to a lesser degree the Ottomans, it could end fairly poorly. Then again, with Austria next door, it could always end fairly poorly.
Given the selections of Castille and England so far, I think the Ottomans makes sense as a power of similar caliber, so slot me as them for now. Depending on what others are interested in choosing, I could be persuaded to go Hungary, and (less likely thanks to the PU), Sweden.
Also, a few groundrules might make sense. I'll propose:
- At most 100% warscore in a war with the human. Truces with humans must be honored for the full 5 years (including any agreements that EU3 can't enforce).
- You can't cede provinces belonging to other humans in a peace deal without their agreement.
Also, if we have Lucky nations, I suggest we make them random. Though I admit this is partially due to me thinking Austria doesn't need any more help than it gets even when not Lucky.
