Eureka - just wondering

The Eureka bonus for the Civ VI tech (civic?) is allying with a current beta tester or Firaxian.

But we don't know who's on the Civ 6 Frankenstein team, so I guess we'll have to send some traders and delegates to find out the rumors.

If we all pre-order Civilation VI - will it get a Eureka-bonus and come out sooner?

Your reasoning is interesting, but ultimately flawed - you think Eureka bonus for civ6 will halve the time between current day and 21st October, but it would halve the time of the entire development time of Civ6. If we assume Civ6 is in development for exactly 3 years by 21st October, this would mean it'd be released 1,5 years earlier with Eureka bonus -on April 2015. Of course time cannot go backwards so this would cause temporal glitch and crash the entire simulation of our universe.

But that suggests that if a tech is, say, 75% researched before its Eureka is achieved, then achieving the Eureka would make confer a total of 125% towards that tech and would therefore crash the game?

perhaps then, we must wait for them to iron that out.

It would actually give us the game right away, and if we are lucky and there is overflow, would already give us the dlcs and speed up the first expansion.

:mischief: No... it would just give us now. that's how Eureka work.

So let's do it. I'm happy play-testing it.

This is the best post I've read in a long time.

The Eureka bonus is when you all have bought full bundles of civ 4 and 5.
Every member needs to do it for you to get the bonus.

Best wishes
Civ6 team
