In Belgrade RStar PSV 3 : 2 !

Does anyone know others pairs and results? That's the only one that I just heard off...

Other results? Predictions? Coments?

ManU won 2-1 in Bucharest
Real Madrid won 2-0 away
Shelborne drew 0-0 with Deportivo!!!

The results from UEFA.com:

CSKA Moskva 2-1 Rangers
Dynamo Kyiv 1-2 Trabzonspor
Benfica 1-0 Anderlecht
GAK 0-2 Liverpool
Juventus 2-2 Djurgården
PAOK 1-2 M. Tel-Aviv
Shelbourne 0-0 Deportivo
Ferencváros 1-0 Sparta
Shakhtar 4-1 Club Brugge
Crvena Zvezda 3-2 PSV
Leverkusen 5-0 Baník
Basel 1-1 Internazionale
Gorica 0-3 Monaco
Wisla 0-2 Real Madrid
Rosenborg 2-1 M. Haifa
Dinamo Bucuresti 1-2 Man. United

Surprises are Djurgarden, Tel-Aviv and also Ferencvaros. Would be nice to see those teams go through to have some more countries represented. Same applies to Crvena Zvezda.

Shelbourne too, of course.

Nice to see that Man U won away so now the second league should hopefully be easier. It seems we keep on building up excuses with all the key players who seem to be out...

The number of cumulative victories in the champions cups/leagues by the clubs present at this qualifying round is impressive. Juventus seems to be the one that got the worst result.

My prediction  after I saw Hitro's results post...

Rangers, Dynamo Kiev, Anderleht, Liverpool, Juventus, TelAviv, Deportivo, Sparta, Shakhtar? what country they are? Ukraine? If so, maybe they will made it.., PSV ( :( , I think..), Bayer, Inter, Monaco, Real, Rosenborg and Manchester United. edit: WILL qualified, off course.

Okay, I say:

CSKA Moskva, Trabzonspor, Benfica, Liverpool, Juventus, Tel Aviv, Deportivo, Ferencvaros, Shaktar (who are from Donezk, Ukraine), Crvena Zvezda, Leverkusen, Inter, Monaco, Madrid, Haifa, Man Utd

If "we" beat "your" *ss in a friendly match ;) that does not mean that Zvezda can pass the PSV at guest (they are too young, again  this year), but we'll see (wish the best :D ). hm...What would Darkness (I think he's supporter of PSV if I remmember) said about this, I wonder..

Hmm, I really don't know what you are referring to, wasn't the last Germany - Serbia match a 1-0 for "us"? I remember being at the stadium.

EDIT: I just realized we (without any ") did lose against you on penalties in a friendly some weeks ago in a tournament in Leipzig. Didn't follow that and therefore didn't get that we even played Zvezda.

Well, they need a draw. I say the chances are quite equal. And I'll wish the best, although I have nothing against PSV, but there will be Dutch teams (at least one) and so a Serbian team would be a nice addition.

Let Red Star go through, because PSV probably has the saddest Champions League record in not passing the first round in 6 or 7 tries IIRC. Ever since the 5 consecutive draws to take the EC1 in 1988 PSV has run out of luck in the international competitions it seems.

Quite disappointing... Hoped the "mauves et blancs" to get a strong defeat...

Shakhtar 4-1 Club Brugge

That's good ! :goodjob:

If they play, and win, in Champions League, they get a lot of money. If they do, they can buy good players and it reduces my team chances. So, I prefer them to be eliminated ! :D

I think most Belgians here guess who's my favourite team ;)

Allez les ROUCHES !

He's not. But that aside, I wasn't impressed by red star. They made three goals, but all from free kicks. PSV has had a bad preparation, but they scored pretty easily yesterday. They're a lot better at home, and probably better in shape by then as well.

PSV has sold their whole forward line, but that forward line hasn't brought much in last years CL. But since those players (Kezman, Rommedahl, Robben) are gone, Hiddink can always list one of his Korean favorites, Park (scored the first psv goal yesterday) and list a forward that might score (meaning: not Kezman, who hasn't scored a CL goal in years). Robben is brilliant, Rommedahl is only really fast. But on the whole I think this team is better than last years, so maybe they'll reach next round this year.

It would be nice to see more countries represented, but I find the overrepresentation of the 'A' countries more annoying. It would be nice to see the upper classes scaled down (less representatives), and the lower classes scaled up. The qualification rounds are still a good thing though, otherwise we'd see the champion of malta or some crap. Like we see in the countries qualification system for the EC and WC.

Well, I just arrived home and go on internet to check the result of the game and I heared emberesing news : 5 - 0 for Philips :( :p and as I see they were playin' even worst that I espected.

Simply, without money (FIRST) and alltogether stardand living condition, the eastern countries are doomed for bust in such "expencive" sport as football is today. Who ever was very good last year when they win double national crown was already gone an play in richer clubs and countries, and it was like that year before and before that ... I should finaly use on that, an stop whining  (after all, I left the country myself, 'tho my football skills probably not help any Serbian club to win any other club :D )

WHATS ARE THE REST OF RESULTS? HOW WILL LOOK COMPLET LIST FOR EuCHLeauge 2004/05?

Seemed to be quite an easy match last night, Dinamo Bucurest didn't seem to put in a lot of effort to actually try and get any kind of result.

Ridiculous as always. But they provide the chance for a really great group to get. I take Real Madrid, Juve and Celtic, please. :D

If they don't serve that then please Man Utd, AC Milan and Ajax. :yeah:
