- or are you building a worker?

Yes - I just finnished to build my first worker ( right from begining - to take also advantage from Expansive trait ) and switched to a warrior next.
Unfortunately you appear ... just 1 turn earlier as long as :

I guess from your comment a warrior or archer is not about to suddenly appear.

... there are displayed 2 turns until my warrior would be completed.
So ... I assume that this was for me this game.
