Event Log - how to bring it up again?

Is there a way to view the event log again?

I'm referring to those messages that pop up at the upper left side of the screen saying stuff like:

Homer has been born in Medina
Russia has build the Pyramids
A hostile unit has been spotted outside of New York
etc. etc.

Sometimes these messages scroll by too fast or I just forgot to look and it goes away.

There is a small button in the upper left corner of the screen.
This Button calls back the event log.

Now if only we had an option to have it in larger font and non disapearing, this old mans eyes have real trouble reading the messages before they go so I am always opeing up the the dialog box. Hey you moders, think of this old mans eyes when you get around to moding

ctrl-tab works too if you prefer keyboard to buttons.

I will have to remember that, I have a keyborad that has a small seprate key pad that is programable that I sit in my lap, great for the the keys I use a lot like space key, enter key and quick save key etc. Now I will have to add ctrl-tab. Thanks again.

This old woman has the same problem. It would be nice if Fireaxis could fix it in a patch.
