Event Log

I have seen some screenshots posted on this forum that show a window opened that has an event log. I can't figure out how to open this in the interface

Can someone please enlighten me

Where are the logs stored? Is there any way to extract them from game as a simple text file?

I also want to know. Just returned from a MP game. I was bitterly defeated as usual becoz that was my 3rd online game. There were 4 of us, but 2 of them quitted at start. So 2 bolts and another folk. I saved the game after I was defeated and I popped in the game again taking up the other folk's civ. Now I can clearly see what he's built. Beauty! The only way I can study his work is by checking the log file.

Does anyone know if it is extracted or can it be extracted?
