examples of tactical combat AI in other games (I can't remember the name of one)

This is totally off-topic, but I used to play a free single-player game that had tactical combat with missile launchers and tanks and stuff. It's not advance wars, I think the graphics were pretty good, but I can't remember the name. The AI was really good and kicked my ass often. Anyone know?
